Book Review: Baby Love

Baby Love Baby Love by Robin Barker
Hubby bought this book for me, he thought it'd help us with this new thing called parenthood.
I tried reading it whilst pregnant, but couldn't get past the first chapter. I found the book to be very 'do it my way or the highway' type thing.  It was too serious, almost too judgemental for an overtired exhausted new mother. BUT, saying that, hubby loves the book it's the book he goes too if he wants an answer or wants to 'give me advice' on something.

Most definitely check it out in the library before you buy it, better yet, let someone else buy it & go visit them & flick through it there (whilst they make you a lovely cup of tea & settle the baby down for a nap for you!!)

Rie's Book Review Rating::::
 3 = I read it but nothing really rocked my world.

I've got it. I would say most Australian mothers who are my age and have children when I did (my kids are 10 and 6) would have it. Like every book on babies, nothing is perfect, but I think it is a good referral book, along with looking up "colic" etc on the internet.
